How to Get Around

With most visitors sticking to Manhattan, walking is a great option for many activities – from sightseeing to simply moving from one destination to the next if it is located within a few blocks. For anything further, the subway is a great option that can take you almost anywhere you need to go at any time of day or night. Finally, for when you have a group of three, are tired, or simply want to get somewhere with as little effort as possible, hail one of the city’s iconic yellow taxis – but remember, they’re only in service when their roof light is on.
